NF is an American rapper and songwriter from Gladwin, Michigan. He is famous for the EP that proved the value of Billboard in 2014, and his latest album “Perception” ranked first in the Billboard 200. Nathan John Feuerstein was born on March 30, 1991. When he was very young, his parents divorced and his father took on the responsibility of raising him alone. NF had a rough childhood because he endured abuse from his mother and boyfriend. To make matters worse, NF’s mother died of drug overdose. Music became his only way out, and he started recording at a very young age. He later dedicated the song “How Can You Leave Us” to her. He enrolled in 2009 and graduated from Gladwin High School. Throughout the school year, NF participated in various extracurricular activities, from basketball to festivals organized with the church.

NF started producing serious music in 2010 and independently released his first album “Moments”. He was contacted by Xist Music and finally signed in 2012. The relationship between the two did not bear fruit, and the two parted ways. NF continues to hone his talents and build his fan base. In 2014, he signed with Capitol CMG and released his EP “NF”. This project made him the focus of everyone’s attention and added luster to the billboard. It is ranked 12th, 4th, and 5th in the Christian album charts, top gospel albums and top rap albums, respectively.
NF went on to release three other albums: “Mansion” in March 2015, “Therapy Session” in April 2016 and “Perception” in October 2017. His debut album reached number 62 on the Billboard 200 chart, followed by “Therapy Session”, which topped the rap charts and stopped in the overall top ten. He will also receive the Dove Award for Best Rap/Hip Hop Album of 2016. “Perception” raised NF’s reputation to new heights because it ranked first on the Billboard 200 list. This became his first album to hit the top of the charts. Throughout his career in NF, he has worked with companies such as Flame, TobyMac, and Futuristic. His lyrics and fluency are often compared to Eminem, Logic, and Machine Gun Kelly. Although he does not consider himself a Christian rapper, many of NF’s music is strongly religious, from the heart, and can be connected to his personal experience.
