YoungBoy Never Broke Again is an American rapper and songwriter. He was formerly known as NBA YoungBoy. His records include Life Before Fame (2015), Menacing Minds (2015), 38 Babies (2016) and Until Death Calls My Name (2018). YoungBoy was born on October 20, 1999, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to Kentrel DeShawn Golden. He broke his neck at age 4 and had to wear a halo brace while recovering. There are three scars on his forehead, a constant reminder of him. YoungBoy was primarily raised by his grandmother in North Baton Rouge. He has two siblings, an older sister and a younger brother.
