Nancy Reagan is an actress, former First Lady of the United States, and the widow of Ronald Reagan. She was born Anne Francis Robbins on July 6, 1921 in New York City. Her father “Kenneth” was a salesman and her mother “Edith” was an actress. Nancy’s parents divorced when she was 6 years old. She attended the Latin School for Girls in Chicago, followed by Smith College in Massachusetts. She graduated in 1943 with a BA in Drama. She briefly worked as a sales clerk and later as a nursing assistant.
