Nancy O’Dell is an American TV presenter and co-anchor of Entertainment Tonight. She was born Nancy Evelyn Humphreys on February 25, 1966 in Sumter, South Carolina. Her parents are Betty and Leonard Humphreys. O’Dell grew up in Myrtle Beach, where she attended Coastal College High School. She graduated from Clemson University in 1990 with a BA in Marketing.

Before television, O’Dell had some success as a beauty pageant model. She was crowned Miss South Carolina in 1987. She entered the 1998 Miss America pageant and won the preliminary swimsuit award. O’Dell started his career as a TV reporter for local stations WPDE-TV and WCBD-TV. She won an Associated Press award for her coverage of police and their handling of drunk driving cases. O’Dell co-hosted NBC’s WTVJ from 1993 to 1995. She later co-hosted Access Hollywood from 1996 to 2009.
O’Dell has covered the Grammys, Emmys, Miss America and Miss Universe pageants. Her film credits include The Smurfs 2 (2013), Thank You for Smoking (2005) and Scream 4 (2011). She also has guest appearances on the 30 Rock, Hannah Montana and Dirt series. O’Dell joined the Entertainment Tonight staff in January 2011 as a correspondent. She replaced Mary Hart as co-anchor in May 2011. O’Dell is an Emmy winner. She is also a two-time recipient of the Professional Journalists Association Award.
She made headlines in October 2016 after O’Dell was mentioned in a video between Donald Trump and Billy Bush. This video was recorded by Access Hollywood in 2005.
