Moses Allison Net Worth: Mose Allison is an American jazz musician who has a net worth of $500,000. Born in Tipo, Mississippi, in 1927, Mose Allison started playing the piano at the age of five. Alison studied at the University of Mississippi before leaving to join the U.S. Army.
Two years later, he began taking classes at Louisiana State University, earning a degree in English in 1952. Within five years of graduating, Alison moved to New York to begin his jazz career. In 1957, he released his debut album, Back Country Suite. Six years later, he released “Mose Allison Sings,” which included several cover songs that paid tribute to various artists. Alison released dozens of albums between the late ’50s and 2010, including 1958’s “Walk With Mose,” 1962’s “I Don’t Worry About A Thing,” 1976’s “Your Mind is” on Vacation”, “Ever since the World” Ended” in 1987, “Tell Me Something: The Songs of Mose Allison” in 1996, and “The Way of the World” in 2010. A few years later, he made his first foray into recording. He was inducted into the Long Island Music Hall of Fame in 2006. The songwriter has been married to his wife, Audrie, since 1949, with whom they have four children.
