Born in New York City in 1968 and raised in Yonkers, Mitch Fatell began his stand-up comedy career as a teenager. He majored in film and acting at New York University, and while in school began taking on intern roles on “The Howard Stern Show.”
He went on to appear on “The Late Show with Conan O’Brien,” “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” and “The Late Show with David Letterman.” His debut comedy CD, “Miniskirts and Muffins,” was released in 2004, and three years later he got a comedy special on “Comedy Central Presents.” Since then, Fatel has released two more CDs in 2013: “Super Retardo” (2005) and “Public Displays of Perversion” (2013). In 2012, he and his wife Jessica landed their own radio shadow on Sirius, titled “Sex and Rocking with Mickey and Jessica.” His CD tracks are regularly played on Sirius’ comedy radio. He is credited as a writer and actor on several productions including “Mitch Fatel Is Magical”, “History of the Joke” and “Live! From the Future”. Fatel lives in New York and is a frequent presence at Manhattan’s Comedy Cellars.
