Milana Vayntrub is an Uzbek-American actress, comedian, writer and producer. She played “Lily Adams” in several AT&T commercials. In 2017, starred in “Doreen Green/Squirrel Girl” in the TV series “New Warriors”. Her TV credits include Silicon Valley, Other Spaces and This Is Us. Vayntrub was born on March 8, 1987 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Soviet Union (now Uzbekistan). To avoid religious persecution, the family moved to West Hollywood, California. She was about 3 years old at the time. Vayntrub attended Beverly Hills High School and later completed her GED. She received her BA in Communication from the University of California, San Diego.

Vayntrub began acting in Mattel Barbie commercials at the age of 5. After college, she trained with the improv/skimming comedy group Upright Citizens Brigade. Vayntrub and friend Stevie Nelson started the YouTube channel “Live Prude Girls” in September 2011. The channel now has over 1 million subscribers and over 10 million views. Guests on their popular “Let’s Talk About More Interesting Things” web series include Kasim G, Mystery Guitar Man, Bernie Burns and Matt Damon.
Vayntrub made her small screen debut in the 1995 series, ER. Other early TV shows include Days of Us, Lizzie McGuire and The Division. She played the small role of “Tanya” in the comedy film Life Happens (2011). She also had a few roles with Melissa McCarthy in the supernatural comedy Ghostbusters (2016). From 2011 to 2014, Vayntrub had various roles in CollegeHumor web videos. She has appeared in the TV series “Silicon Valley”, “Other Spaces” and “Love”. She has several guest appearances on the panel game show “@Midnight” hosted by Chris Hardwick. Vayntrub has been cast as “Doreen Green,” aka “Squirrel Girl,” in the upcoming series The New Warriors.
