Mike Rutherford’s net worth: Mike Rutherford is a British musician with a net worth of US$60 million. Mike Rutherford is a founding member of the Genesis band and one of only two consistent members of the band. He plays bass guitar and provides background harmony for the band.

He was born on October 2, 1950 in Guildford, England. In addition to working for Genesis for many years, Rutherford also released two solo albums in the early 1980s. In 1985, he formed the very successful derivative combination Mike + The Mechanics, which later became the top of the rankings and an important live draw. The success of the band earned Rutherford the Ivor Novello Award for his 1988 single The Living Years, which was co-written by Rutherford and BA Robertson. Rutherford and his wife Angie live in Surrey, England. The couple married on November 13, 1976 and have three children. He wrote the book “The Living Years: The First Memoir of Genesis” in 2014.
