Michelle Wolfe is an American talk show comedian, actor and writer. Her TV works include The Awesomes, Seth Meyers’ Late Night and Michelle Wolf’s Rest. She is the former writer and contributor of Trevor Noah’s “The Daily Show”. Michelle Wolf was born on June 21, 1985 in Hershey, Pennsylvania. She grew up with two older siblings. Wolfe attended Hershey High School, followed by the College of William and Mary. She graduated in 2007 with a degree in kinesiology. She also runs in high school and college. She gave up track and field due to injury.

Before the comedy, Wolfe worked in the banking industry for four years. From 2007 to 2008, she worked at the New York investment bank “Bear Stearns”. She worked at JPMorgan Chase for about two years. Wolf made his debut in a late night series with Seth Meyers in July 2014. She served as the writing supervisor of the show from 2014 to 2016. During her tenure, she portrayed the fictional character “Adult Annie”. She guest-starred as “Margaret” in the 2016 Louis CK’s Horace and Pete episodes. Wolf hosted the 2016 web series “Now Hiring” for Comedy Central. She performed her stand-up comedy “So Brave” at the Edinburgh Music Festival in Scotland in 2016. She also awarded Emmys and Oscars.

In April 2016, Wolf and Trevor Noah became contributors to the Daily Show. She wrote a total of 273 episodes from 2016 to 2017. Wolfe’s HBO debut “The Good Woman” was released in December 2017. The 1-hour special is directed by Neal Brennan. She also serves as an executive producer. In recent news, Wolfe hosted the 2018 White House Correspondents Association dinner in Washington, D.C., and she was criticized for shooting members of the Trump administration. Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders attended in place of President Donald Trump.

Wolfe is currently writing her own series “The Break with Michel Wolfe”. The main actors include Chris Myers (reporter), Maya Merck (cashier) and Jimmy Nicholas (male companion). The show will premiere on Netflix on May 27, 2018.
