The grandson of the eponymous German auto parts supplier founder Max Brose, he took over at the age of 23. Since then, he has transformed the company from a domestic manufacturer to an international leader, enabling and supplying mechatronic components and systems for doors, seats and bodies in 23 countries. The company has approximately 22,000 employees working in 58 locations around the world. According to the 2013 fiscal year report, the Brose Group generated revenues of 4.7 billion euros ($6.25 billion).
