Michael Cudlitz is an American television and film actor. He is known for shows like Southland, Band of Brothers and The Walking Dead. He also did voice work for the Call of Duty video game franchise. Kudlitz was born on November 30, 1964 in Long Island, New York. He grew up in Lakewood Township, New Jersey and attended Lakewood High School. Kudlitz continued his education at CalArts. Graduated in 1990 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts.

Kudlitz’s debut feature was the 1989 short “Crystal Ball.” From 1992 to 1993, he played “Tony Miller” in 11 episodes of 90210 in Beverly Hills. Other early TV shows include Growing Pains, Renegade and Band of Brothers. Kudlitz played “Chub” in Robert Redford’s 1992 film A River Across It. He went on to have small roles in “Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story”, “Gross Point Blank” and “Negotiator.” Recent films include Running Scared (2006) with Paul Walker, Surrogates (2009) with Bruce Willis and Inside Out (2011) with Triple H.
Cudlitz played the role of “Frank Rogers” in the short-lived series Standoff (2006). He later co-starred in “John Cooper” on the NBC crime drama “Southland.” The show ran for 5 seasons from 2009 to 2013. His performance earned him the 2013 Critics’ Choice Award for Best Supporting Actor. Kudlitz often served as sergeant. “Abraham Ford” in season four of AMC’s The Walking Dead. He has been added to the main cast since Season 5. The Abraham character was killed in Season 7, Episode 1. The show also stars Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun and Chandler Riggs.
