Melissa Schuman (Melissa Schuman) is an American singer, actress, and a former member of the girl group “Dream”. Schumann started her pop music career as a member of the girl group “Dream”. The organization was founded in 1998 with three other members Holly Blake-Arnstein, Ashley Poole and Alex Chester. They signed with Sean Combs’ Bad Boy Records. In early 1999, Alex Chester was replaced by Diana Ortiz. Dream’s first studio album “It Was All a Dream” was released in January 2001. It is ranked 6th in the Billboard 200 and 11th in the top R&B/Hip-Hop album. It gave birth to the singles “He Loves U Not”, “This Is Me” and “Mr. Telephone Man”. They opened for Destiny’s Child, Eve and Nelly on the TRL tour in 2001. Dream was active in 1998-2003 and 2015-2016. Their second album Reality was released by Universal Music in 2008. In 2016, they performed in various cities in the United States as part of the My2K Tour.

Schumann made his first appearance in Serge Rodnunsky’s comedy film “Tiger” (1997). She subsequently played roles in the TV movies “Anna’s Dream” (2002) and “The Secret of Disaster” (2003). She appeared with Jay Leno in The Tonight Show in 2001. Schumann played the role of “Nicole” in the independent horror film “Scream of Silence” (2005). Her film works include The Hollow (2004) with Kevin Zegers and Kaley Cuoco, and Love Don’t Cost a Thing (2003) with Nick Cannon and Christina Milian. She appeared in the web series Actress: Online Series (2015-16).
