Meadowlark Lemon is an American basketball player known as the “Clown Prince” of the Harlem Globetrotters. He was born on April 25, 1932 in Wilmington, North Carolina. He was drafted into the military while attending Florida A&M University. He made his basketball debut with the Globetrotters in 1955. Lemon played thousands of games for the Globetrotters and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2003. He became a pastor in 1986 and founded Meadowlark Lemon Ministries, Inc. in 1994. Lemon married his first wife Willye Maultsby in 1977 and his second wife Cynthia Lemon in 1994. He has ten children in total. He died on December 27, 2015 at the age of 83. The cause of his death was not disclosed. Meadowlark Lemon is 6-foot-3 and has an estimated net worth of $2 million.
