Mayte Jannell Garcia is an American dancer, actor and choreographer. She is best known for her marriage to pop singer Prince. Garcia was born on November 12, 1973, in Fort Rucker, Alabama, to parents John and Janelle. She has a sister named Janice. Garcia’s father served in the military, so she had to relocate several times during her childhood. She is the alma mater of HH General Arnold High School in Wiesbaden, Germany.
