Maxo Kream is an American rapper and music producer from Houston, Southwest Texas. He belongs to the Kream Clicc collective. His first solo debut album “Punken” was released in 2018. Other notable projects include Quicc Strikes (2013), #Maxo187 (2015) and The Persona Tape (2016). He has worked with actors such as Playboi Carti, Suicideboys, Fredo Santana and Trae tha Truth.

His name is Emekwanem Ibemakanam Ogugua Biosah Jr. and he was born on March 29, 1990 in Houston, Texas. He was raised in Alif, Texas by an African American mother and a Nigerian father. Maxo attended Kempner High School, followed by Alief Hastings High School. Growing up, he was surrounded by violence and gang lifestyle. His contact with 52 Hoover Gangster Crips led to multiple arrests and criminal records.
