The Chicago Bears selected the 6-foot, 205-pound receiver with the 78th overall pick in the third round of the 1999 NFL Draft. Booker played with the Bears until he was traded to the Miami Dolphins in 2003. Booker played with the Dolphins until 2007 and returned to the Bears for the 2008 season after being released by the Dolphins. He played with the Atlanta Falcons in 2009 and then hung up his cleat after the team released him, finding no interest in free agency. As of the fall of 2014, Booker had not officially announced his retirement from the league, but he has not worn a jersey since the 2009 season. Booker was drafted to the Pro Bowl in 2002, the same season he earned NFL All-Pro honors. He finished his career with 539 catches for over 6,700 yards and 37 touchdowns.
