His first major acting role was in a drama with his father.

Before listing for USD 24.99 million in 2012, they began to spend millions of dollars to renovate the property. They work hard to find buyers who are willing to reimburse the expenses they spent on renovations. In the end, they were forced to sell for 18.25 million U.S. dollars and swallowed millions of dollars after considering the renovation costs.
In 2016, Sarah and Matthew spent $34.5 million to purchase two side-by-side townhouses in New York City. They merged the property into a brand new mansion with 14,000 square feet of living space, 2,100 square feet of outdoor space, and 50 feet of street space.
When they completed their ambitious real estate development project in New York, they lived in a nearby townhouse, which they bought in 2000 for $2.995 million. They also renovated the property. In the two decades from 2000 to 2002, they lived in this house most of the time. In January 2020, the couple listed the townhouse for $19 million. It took a whole year to finally uninstall.
