Masego (Uncle Sego) is an American recording artist, songwriter and producer born in Jamaica. He seamlessly integrates jazz, trap music and home music into what he calls TrapHouseJazz. In addition to vocals, he is also a multi-instrument player, who can play saxophone, drums and piano. Masego is famous for its collaborations with FKJ such as “Navajo”, “Girls That Dance” and “Tadow”. His music projects include Lady Lady (2018), Loose Thoughts (2016) and Pink Polo (2016) and Medasin. He has worked with GoldLink and DJ Jazzy Jeff among others.

His name is Micah Davis and he was born on June 8, 1993 in Kingston, Jamaica. He grew up in a Christian family (both parents are pastors). His father served in the Air Force and his mother was an entrepreneur. Before settling in Newport News, Virginia, the family moved frequently. After growing up, Davis taught himself a variety of musical instruments, starting with drums. He started playing saxophone at the age of 14, and has not looked back since.
