Markiplier is an American YouTube celebrity and social media star. He is best known for his “Let’s Play” gameplay and reviews. His YouTube channel has over 17 million subscribers and over 7 billion video views. Markiplier was born Mark Edward Fischbach on June 28, 1989 in Honolulu, Hawaii. He grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. His older brother Thomas is a webcomic artist and writer. Markiplier attended the University of Cincinnati. He studied biomedical engineering but dropped out before completing his degree.
