Malcolm Young is an Australian rhythm guitarist, songwriter and music producer. He is the co-founder of the hard rock band AC/DC. Their records include High Voltage (1975), Back in Black (1980) and The Razors Edge (1990). Malcolm Mitchell Young was born on January 6, 1953 in Glasgow, Scotland. His parents are William and Margaret. He has 7 siblings, including Angus, George, Margaret, Stephen and Alex. In 1963, he immigrated to Australia at the age of 10.

This project is a tribute to the singer/songwriter Bonscott who died on February 19, 1980. “Back in Black” has sold more than 50 million copies worldwide. It is at the top of the rankings in Australia, Canada, France and the United Kingdom. It is ranked 4th in the Billboard 200. These include songs such as “Hells Bells”, “Shoot to Thrill” and “You Shook Me All Night Long”. Other AC/DC albums include For those About to Rock We Salute You (1981), The Razors Edge (1990) and Black Ice (2008). Their latest project Rock or Bust was released by Columbia Records in November 2014. AC/DC was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in March 2003. Malcolm Young retired in 2014 due to health problems.
