Maisie Williams is an English actress and dancer. She is best known for her role as “Arya Stark” in the HBO series Game of Thrones. Her film credits include The Fall and The Book of Love. Williams was born Margaret Constance Williams on April 15, 1997 in Bristol, England. Her mother, Hilary Pitt Frances, was a former educator. She has three older siblings, James, Beth and Ted. Williams grew up in Craton, Somerset. She attended Norton Hill School and studied performing arts at Bath School of Dance.

Williams made her television debut as “Arya Stark” in the HBO fantasy series “Game of Thrones.” The show premiered on April 17, 2011. She won two Gateway Awards in 2012, one for Best Supporting Actress and one for Best Young Actress. She also won the EWwy and Empire Awards. Williams guest starred in “Loren Caleigh” in “The Secret of Crickley Hall” (2012) and later in “Ashildr” in Doctor Who (2015). She played “Casey Jacobs” in the TV movie Cyberbully (2015). Her performance as “Lydia Lamont” won her the London Film Critics Association Young Actor of the Year Award. The Fall is written and directed by Carol Morley. Williams starred alongside Jason Sudeikis and Jessica Biel in The Book of Love. Her upcoming projects include iBoy (2016) and A Storm in the Stars (2017).
