His career as a footballer (soccer) saw him play for the youth team Universal FC Rio Largo; senior team Corinthian Alagoiano (2007-08), CRB (loan) (2007), 1899 Huo Finheim (loan) (2007-08) and 2008-11), Bayern Munich (2011-13), before joining his current team VfL.
