Louis CK is a Grammy Award-winning comedian, actor, writer, producer and director. He is best known for the FX series Louie (2010-15), as well as his stand-up comedy tours and TV specials. His film works include The Invention of Lies (2009), The Secret Life of Pets (2016) and I Love You, Dad (2017). CK was born in Louis Szekely, Washington, DC on September 12, 1967. His parents are Mary and Luis Szekely. He has three sisters. Soon after he was born, the family moved to Mexico City and spent 6 years there. When he was 7 years old, they moved to Newton, Massachusetts. CK graduated from Newton North High School in 1985. Before becoming a comedian, he was a car mechanic.
