Logic is an American rapper, songwriter and music producer. His recordings include the mixtape “Young Sinatra: Welcome to Forever”, as well as the studio albums “Under Pressure” and “The Incredible True Story”. He also has a YouTube channel where he posts gaming videos. Logic was born on January 22, 1990, in Sir Robert Bryson Hall II, Gaithersburg, Maryland. He grew up near West Deer Park and attended Gaithersburg High School. He was expelled before completing his diploma. The stage name “Logic” is short for “Psychological”.

Logic started his rap career as a teenager. He was inspired by singer Frank Sinatra and rap groups Wu-Tang Clan and A Tribe Called Quest. His first official mixtape, Young, Broke & Infamous, was released as a digital download in 2009. Logic later signed with independent label Visionary Music Group. The first part of his “Young Sinatra” mixtape series was released in September 2011. It features guest vocals by singers Raheem DeVaughn and Lykke Li. His fifth mixtape, Bobby Tarantino, was released in July 2016. The songs “Flexicution” and “Wrist” star rapper Pusha T. It rose to No. 2 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart.
Logic was named a “Top 10 Freshman Class” of 2013 by XXL Magazine. In 2013, he also signed a recording contract with Def Jam Recordings. Likewise, he toured with rapper Kid Cudi on “The Cud Life Tour.” Logic’s debut studio album, Under Pressure, was released in October 2014 by Visionary Music and Def Jam. The album was certified Gold and sold over 500,000 copies. Logic’s second album, The Incredible True Story (2015), reached number three on the Billboard 200. His third album, Everyone (2017) features guest artists such as Killer Mike, No ID and Alessia Cara. It spawned the singles “Everybody” and “Black Spiderman”.
