Lily James is a British film, television and theater actor. She played “Cinderella” in Disney’s 2015 live-action film, and played “Mrs. Rose McClell” in Downton Abbey (2012-15). Her film works include Baby Driver (2017), Darkest Hour (2017) and Mamma Mia! Here we are (2018). James was born in Escher, England, on April 5, 1989, her original name is Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson. Her father James (died 2008) was a musician, and her mother Ninet was an actress. She has two brothers, including Sam. James studied at Trine Park School of Performing Arts, followed by City Hall School of Music and Drama. She graduated in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in acting.
