Lilly King is an American swimmer, breaststroke expert and Olympic gold medalist. She was born on February 10, 1997 to parents Mark and Ginny King in Evansville, Indiana. She has a younger brother named Alex. Lily attended FJ Reitz High School in her hometown. She was originally a member of the Newburgh Marine Biological Swimming School. Lilly continued her education and swimming career at Indiana University. As a member of the Indiana State Swimming Team, she has won many honors.

Profession
Lily is good at breaststroke swimming technique. She won two medals in the 2013 Speedo Winter Junior National Competition. Lilly won the gold medal at the 2014 Pan Pacific Youth Championship and was runner-up at the 2015 Phillips 66 National Championship. She broke the American breaststroke records of 100 and 200 yards in the 2016 NCAA Championship.

After winning the 100m and 200m breaststroke in the US Olympic trials, Eli Lilly qualified for the 2016 Rio Olympics. She won the gold medal in the 100-meter breaststroke and defeated Russia’s Yulia Yefimov. She also set a new Olympic record of 1:04:93.
