Lil Mosey is an American rapper and internet celebrity. He released the hit single “Pull Up” at the end of 2017. Other notable projects include the mixtape NorthBest (2017), the album NorthsBest (2018), and the singles “Boof Pack” and “Noticed”. He is currently signed with Interscope Records. Mosey was born on January 25, 2002 in Seattle, Washington, formerly known as Lathan Moses Echols. He was raised by his mother. He attended Shorecrest High School, followed by Mountlake Terrace High.

Mosey started learning music in the 8th grade. He began to reproduce songs originally composed by Speaker Knockerz, such as “Scared Money”. His biggest inspiration came from Meek Mill’s first album Dreams and Nightmares (2012). Mosey’s first original song “Off White” was released through SoundCloud in August 2016, and it has been played over 1 million so far. His follow-up single “So Bad” performed better, spinning more than 4.3 million times. Mosey’s first mixtape NorthsBest was independently released in April 2017. It is produced by Royce David, TheBeatPlug and CashMoneyAp. The tape was supported by the singles “So Bad”, “Supreme Hoodies” and “Ion See You”. Mosey maintained his momentum with “Skrt Off (Freestyle)”, “2Paid”, “Been On” and “Lame Sh!t (Free Kilo)”.

Mosey’s breakthrough single “Pull Up” was released in December 2017. Over 12 million views have been played in the first 7 months. This song was produced by Black Mayo. The official video directed by YungTada is posted on YouTube. Mosey signed with Interscope Records and released his first single “Boof Pack” in 2018. His second song on the label “Noticed” was released in July 2018. The accompanying music video is directed and edited by Cole Bennett of Lyrical Lemonade. Mosey’s first studio album Northsbest was released by Interscope Records in October 2018. It peaked at number 20 on the Billboard 200 and Canadian leaderboards. This album was produced by Royce David and Black Mayo, and features a guest appearance by BlocBoy JB.

In 2018, Mosey joined Juice WRLD and YBN Cordae on a tour of WRLD rule (Juice WRLD, Nevada-September 14 in Rhode Island). He also toured with Comethazine and Smooky MarGielaa (Margielaa Madness Tour) and Smokepurpp (Monster Energy Outbreak Tour).
