Lance Burton Net Worth: Lance Burton is an American magician who has a net worth of $100 million. William Lance Burton was born in Louisville, Kentucky in March 1960. He was introduced to magic at the age of five after volunteering for a magic show at his mother’s company Christmas party. Lance’s neighbor gave him a magic book.
He quickly learned these techniques and performed them for children in the neighborhood. Harry Collins became Burton’s mentor. In 1977 Lance participated in his first magic contest and won first place. In 1980, the International Brotherhood of Magicians awarded him the Gold Medal of Excellence. Burton moved to Southern California and appeared on The Tonight Show. He has since appeared on the show 10 times as Johnny Carson and another 10 times under Jay Leno. He played at the Folies Bergere in Las Vegas for nine years. He was the first American to win the “Grand Prix” at the 1982 FISM competition, and the youngest. In 1994, he signed a 13-year contract with the Monte Carlo Resort in Las Vegas, which included the Lance Burton Theater. During that period, his campaign earnings were close to $110 million. His last performance in Monte Carlo was in September 2010. There he gave over 5,000 shows to over half a million people. He has twice won the Magician of the Year Award from the Academy of Magical Arts and the Blackstone Drama Award in 1998.
