Born in Elk Grove, California in 1980, Lance Briggs played college football for the University of Arizona Wildcats, where he twice earned first-team All-Pac 10 honors. The Chicago Bears selected Briggs with the 68th overall pick in the third round of the 2003 NFL Draft.
