Kody Goens (born May 28, 1994 in Noblesville, Indiana) is an American singer/songwriter and music producer. He is best known as the lead singer of the award-winning pop duo Second Alibi. They toured with famous artists such as Aaron Carter in 2017. Goens’ first single “High” was released by E2A Music Group, LLC in the spring of 2018. It can be used on platforms such as iTunes, Google Play, Spotify and SoundCloud. Gones attended Pendleton Heights High School in Pendleton, Indiana. He continued to study at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.

Kody started his career after being discovered by synthetic pop singer Adam Mardel in 2014 through the “Ohio Boy Band Search”. The band that stood out from the search was eventually called Second Alibi. Goens replaced the original lead singer Jake Tucker and will lead the duo to international success with a number of hits. The second Alibi’s debut single “Ignite” won the Ohio Music Awards for Best Electronic Song. Their third single “Red” ranked third on the iTunes charts in the summer of 2016.

In 2017, Goens co-authored and produced the singles “Vapor” and “Under The Influence” for singer Kady OBrien. Both songs appeared in O’Brien’s EP Silver Thread and Paper Cut (2017). After working with Second Alibi for four years, Goens released his debut single “High” in the spring of 2018. The song had little effect, but it officially consolidated Kody’s status as a true R&B singer.
