His college football career began in Salem from 1985 to 1986 before moving to Sanford in 1987. Fisher’s coaching career began with Sanford as a graduate assistant working with quarterbacks. In 1991, he was promoted to offensive coordinator, and two years later he was coaching quarterbacks at Auburn University. Fisher accepted the same position at LSU in 2000, serving six seasons before he left Florida State. In 2009, after three seasons as the Seminoles’ offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, Fisher earned his first head coaching job on the same team. Since then, he’s amassed a 56-10 career win-loss record midway through the 2014 season and is undefeated in bowl games. Fisher won a national championship with FSU in 2013.
