Early life and career start
Kimila Ann Basigner was born on December 8, 1953 in Athens, Georgia. Her mother Ann Lee (formerly known as Cordell) is a model and actress, and her father Donald Wade Basinger is a loan manager and big band musician, as well as a U.S. Army veteran.
