Kevin Peterson net worth
Kevin Peterson Net Worth: Kevin Peter Pietersen is a South African-English cricketer who has a net worth of $7.5 million. A right-handed batsman and occasional spin bowler, he is currently playing for Sarri. A South African, Peterson started his cricketing debut in 1997 for Natal.
However, he was deeply disappointed by the racial quota system in place in South Africa and decided to move to the UK. There, thanks to his English mother, he was eligible to play for England. So he played four years at the county level before getting selected and joining the national team. In 2004 he made his international and official debut in the One Day International against Zimbabwe, and the following year he made his debut in the 2005 Ashes series Test against Australia. Peterson captained the England Test and ODI team from August 2008 to early January 2009, but resigned following three Tests and nine ODIs, as well as a dispute with England coach Peter Moores. Peterson was unfortunately ruled out of the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup due to a hernia injury and was therefore unable to play in the Indian T20 league that year. In 2012, he publicly announced his withdrawal from international limited cricket due to disagreements over the schedule. He later withdrew his retirement but was not accepted for the series against South Africa. Peterson, also known as Kel, Kelves or KP, was one of the fastest batsmen and became the third British batsman to top the ICC One Day International rankings. In 2012, he was dubbed “England’s greatest modern batsman” by The Guardian.
