Ken Norton net worth: Ken Norton is a retired professional boxer who has a net worth of $5 million. Born in Jacksonville, Illinois, Ken Norton excelled in track and field in high school. An inductee to the all-state football team, he competed in eight different track and field events during his senior year, finishing first in seven of them.
Subsequently, all Illinois track teams implemented the Ken Norton Rule. It limits the number of track and field events a student-athlete can compete in to four. He started boxing while working in the U.S. Marine Corps in the early ’60s and went on to win three all-Navy heavyweight titles. He turned pro after completing his service in 1967. During his career, he went on to play 50 games and won 42 games. His 33 wins have come from the knockout stage. He is best known for being one of only two boxers to beat Muhammad Ali at his peak. He broke Ali’s jaw in the 12th round in March 1973. They fought two more times. He lost two games, although the third was still widely disputed. He passed away on September 18, 2013.
