Kelly Ripa is an American talk show host and actor. Her most famous shows are “Live! With Kelly and Michael” and “All My Children”. Ripa was born on October 2, 1970 in Stratford, New Jersey. Her mother Esther was a housewife, and her father Joseph was a bus driver and union chairman. She has a younger sister named Linda. Ripa attended Eastern District High School, followed by Camden Community College. She dropped out of school before finishing her psychology degree.

Lipa took ballet lessons as a child. She also starred in various local dramas. Her stage credits include the comedy “The Ugly Duckling”, written by AA Milne. From 1986 to 1992, Lipa performed in the dance show “American Ball.” She played the groundbreaking role of “Hayley Vaughan” in the ABC sitcom “My Children” in 1990. From 1990 to 2002, she held this role for 12 years. Ripa won two Emmy nominations for her performance; one won the Best Supporting Actress Award, and the other won the Outstanding Young Actress Award in the Drama Series.

Philbin was replaced by retired football player “Michael Strahan” in 2012. Lipa co-hosted the “Disneyland Christmas Parade” from 2001 to 2009. From 2003 to 2006, she played “Faith Fairfield” in the sitcom “Hope and Faith”. Her film works include Marvin’s Room (1996), Stand-in (1999) and Let Me Fly to the Moon (2008). Ripa has won 4 Daytime Emmy Awards and 3 Soap Opera Digest Awards. Her star was added to the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2015.
