June Lockhart (June Lockhart) is an American television, film and theater actress. She is best known for her roles in the series, Lassie (1954) and Lost in Space (1965). Lockhart was born on June 25, 1925 in New York City. Her father Jean is a Canadian-born actress, and her mother Catherine is a British-born actress. She grew up in California, where she attended Westlake Girls’ School in Beverly Hills.
