She released several albums with Johnny Cash, including her 1967 debut studio album Carryin’ On, with Johnny Cash and June Carter, Ranked 5th on the American Country Rankings. Her single “If I Were a Carpenter” with Johnny Cash peaked at No. 2 on the US National Charts and No. 1 on the Canadian National Charts. In 1969, she won the Country Music Association’s Vocal Group of the Year Award with Johnny Cash. June Carter Cash died on May 15, 2003 at the age of 73.
