Judith Olivia Dench was born on December 6, 1934 in Heworth, York. Her father Reginald is a doctor, and her mother Eleanor is an amateur actress. She has two brothers, Jeffrey and Peter. Dench is a student at York Mountain School. Later, she studied drama at the Central School of Speech and Drama.
