Born in 1957, Jon Najarian is the eldest of four brothers and the son of John Najarian, a prominent Minnesota physician and surgeon. Although he attended NFL training camp, Najarian was cut after the Chicago Bears’ final preseason game in 1981 in favor of Mike Singletary.
