Johnny Manziel is an American football player currently signed with the Cleveland Browns. At 6-foot-0, he’s the team’s quarterback. He was born on December 6, 1992 in Tyler, Texas, to Paul and Michelle Manzier. He attended Tevey High School, where he played a variety of sports including baseball and soccer. He played football as a wide receiver before making his quarterback debut as a sophomore. Two years later, he was named Senior Athlete of the Year by the National High School Coaches Association. He entered Texas A&M University on an athletic scholarship in 2011 to play for the Aggies. He played his first college football game with the Florida Gators. He went on to win the David O’Brien Award, followed by the Heisman Trophy in December 2012.
