John Kander net worth: John Kander is an American composer and songwriter with a net worth of US$20 million. John Kander was born in Kansas City, Missouri in March 1927. He is best known as a member of the Kander and Eb songwriting team. Kander received his master’s degree from Columbia University and served in the U.S. Merchant Marine Corps.
He began to work as a substitute rehearsal pianist for “West Side Story” on Broadway. Kander will continue to create stage musicals “Family Affairs”, “The Red Threat”, “Song and Dance Show”, “Happy Hour”, “Zoba”, “70-year-old Girl”, “70-year-old Girl”, “Chicago”, “The Act”, “Woman of the Year”, “Skating Rink”, “Diamonds” and World Reincarnation, Spider-Woman’s Kiss, Steel Pier, Foss, Interview, Curtains, Everything About Us and Scottsboro Boys. Kander and Ebb contributed songs to the film cabaret show, Funny Lady, Lucky Lady, A Matter of Time, New York, New York, French Postcards, Stepping Out and Chicago. He also contributed to the movies “Something for Everyone”, “Kramer vs. Kramer”, “Silent Night”, “Blue Sky Again”, “The Place in My Heart”, “I Want to Go Home”, “Billy Busgate” Make the soundtrack. Kander won three Tony Awards, two Emmy Awards, two Grammy Awards and one Lawrence Oliver Award.
