Girardi was with the Colorado Rockies from 1993 to 1995, the New York Yankees from 1996 to 1999, the Cubs for a second time from 2000 to 2002, and the St. Louis Cardinals in 2003. Girardi is an MLB All-Star with the Cubs in the 2000 season. As a player, he was a three-time World Series champion, winning with the Yankees in 1996, 1998 and 1999.
