Joe Biden is an American Democratic politician from Delaware. He is the 46th president of the United States and the current president. His candidate for the 2020 presidential election was announced on April 25, 2019. Biden served as the 47th Vice President of the United States during the Obama administration. He served as the U.S. Senator for Delaware from 1973 to 2009. He has also served as chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, chairman of the International Narcotics Control Caucus, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, and a member of the Newcastle County Council.
His name is Joseph Robinette Biden Jr., and he was born on November 20, 1942 in Scranton, Pennsylvania. His parents are Catherine Finnegan and Joseph Biden Sr. He has 3 younger siblings, James, Francis and Valerie. When he was about 13, the family moved to Delaware.
