Jimmy Fallon is an American comedian, actor and TV presenter. He currently hosts the “Tonight Show” on NBC. Fallon was born James Thomas Fallon on September 19, 1974 in Brooklyn, New York. His parents are James Sr. and Gloria (d. 2017). He has a younger sister named Gloria, who is a freelance writer. Fallon attended Saugerties High School, where he appeared in various comedies and stage plays. He studied computer science at Saint Rose College, but dropped out in 1995 to pursue comedy. Fallon received a bachelor’s degree in communications in 2009.

Fallon pursued his dream of becoming a comedian in Los Angeles, California. He auditioned and made his debut on Saturday Night Live in 1998. Other comedians at the time included Will Farrell and Tracy Morgan. Fallon became popular for his role as Jerry Seinfeld, Robert De Niro, and Chris Rock. After successfully cooperating with SNL, Fallon launched his own late-night talk show “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon”. He hosted the show on NBC from 2009 to 2013.
Fallon succeeded Jay Leno as the host of NBC’s “Tonight Show” in 2014. Over the years, his celebrity guests have included Hugh Jackman, Kelly Ripa, Dolly Parton, Martha Stewart and the 2016 Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
