Jimmy Butler III was born on September 14, 1989 in Houston, Texas. Abandoned by his father as a child, Jimmy Butler lived on the streets at the age of 13. Years later, Butler revealed that he remained close to his parents despite abandoning him at a young age.
During his high school years, Jimmy’s basketball talent was quickly discovered. He was then admitted to the family of Jordan Leslie, a future NFL star who attended the same school.
