Jim Neidhart (Jim Neidhart) is an American professional wrestler with more than 25 years of professional wrestling experience. He participated in the World Wrestling Federation under the stage name “Anvil”. His honors include 2 WWF doubles championships. He was trained in Hart Dungeon in Stu Hart, Canada. James Henry Neidhart was born on February 8, 1955 in Tampa, Florida. He attended Port Newport High School in Orange County, California. In high school, he performed well in track and field events such as shot put. He has maintained the school’s shot put record for more than 10 years. After graduation, Neidhart tried football. He practiced and played preseason games with NFL teams such as the Oakland Raiders and the Dallas Cowboys.

After playing in the NFL, Neidhart moved to Calgary, Canada and started wrestling. He studied under Stu Hart in the legendary Hart Dungeon. Neidhart participated in the Canadian professional league “Stampede Wrestling” from 1978 to 1983. This resulted in 2 doubles titles, one with Hercules Ayala and the other with Mr. Hito. His stage name “Anvil” was born after he dominated the Anvil game at the Calgary Stampede. Neidhart wrestled in New Japan Professional Wrestling and Georgia Championship Wrestling. In 1984, he briefly cooperated with the Continental Wrestling Association. In 1984, Vince McMahon acquired Stampede Wrestling. Neidhart and brother-in-law Bret Hart were both involved in the transaction.
Neidhart made his WWF debut in January 1985. He defeated Tony Garea of New Zealand at Madison Square Garden. He made his debut as a member of the Hart Foundation on WrestleMania 2. The foundation went on to win the WWF World Tag Team Championship in 1987 and 1990. They won the annual discord against Stone Cold Steve Austin in 1997. Neidhart also participated in World Championship Wrestling, Eastern Championship Wrestling and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. The last time he appeared on the WWE ring was on the anniversary of Monday Night Raw in December 2007. Since then, he has appeared many times in the E! reality show series Total Divas (2013-18).
