He is the last confirmed surviving actor in the film. When Ruth Duccini died in January 2014, Maren was the only surviving member of the film. He made his debut in 1938 in Terror in a Small Town. Maren was not recognized for her role as a member of the Lollipop Guild in The Wizard of Oz. He starred in the television series Lidsville in 1971, Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman in 1977, and No Soap, Radio in 1982. Maren also starred in a number of films, including 1978’s The Lord of the Rings and Bad News Bear Goes to Japan. He won Best Actor in a Performance for 2010’s Dahmer vs. Gacy. In 2007, he unveiled the Hollywood star of The Wizard of Oz Munchkins. In 2013, he performed a handprint ceremony at Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood. Mullen also played Mayor Mackeys in a McDonald’s commercial and played Oscar Jr. for Oscar Mayer. Jerry Mullen died in May 2018 at the age of 98.
