She then moved to Los Angeles to live with the adult actress Nikki Tyler, who was also dating at the time. Jay’s brother Jim Grdina later sued Jay and Jenna, claiming that he was an investor in ClubJenna and did not get the proceeds he deserved from the sale. He also sued them separately for a $250,000 loan provided in 2003 to help the couple buy Penthouse Magazine. The brother claimed that only half of the investment was recovered after the bid was not passed. The brothers also claimed to have lent the couple US$275,000 in 2006 but did not repay them.
