His college football career began on the offensive line for the North Carolina Tahels. Saturday earned All-ACC first-team honors in 1996 and 1997, but was undrafted in the 1998 NFL draft.
He struck a free-agent deal with the Baltimore Ravens, but eventually made his career debut with the Indianapolis Colts in 1999. Saturday continued to be a mainstay on the Colts’ offensive line for more than a decade. He was a six-time professional bowler (2005-2007, 2009, 2010, 2011) and a first-team All-NBA team twice (2005, 2007).
