Jay Electronica is an American rapper and music producer. He was born on September 19, 1976 in New Orleans, Louisiana, his original name is Timothy Elpadaro Sedford. He left New Orleans when he was a teenager and began to perform on various stages in the United States. While in Detroit, he was introduced to record producers J. Dilla and Mr. Porter.
